However, we are aware that things can go wrong resulting in a patient feeling that they have a genuine cause for complaint. If this is so, we would wish for the matter to be settled as quickly, and as amicably, as possible.

The care that my partner recently received from Dr Hazel was excellent and she deserves praise for this.  My fiancee was suffering with migraines and Dr Hazel was concered there may be more serious isuses causing this.  She walked my fiancee out to the car with her permission explained everything to me so that I knew what signs to look out for and what to do if her condition worsened. Dr Hazel then called back a week later to check on her condition and see whether the medication was working, which was going beyond what was expected and very much appreciated by both of us.  Dr Hazel is a credit to your surgery.

I hope you don't mind my email. I just wanted to let you know about my experience this morning 16th March. I rang the surgery, was on hold for 35 minutes so I knew I would be too late for an appointment. I was greeted with a lovely friendly voice saying Good morning, Ecclesfield Group Practice, Claire speaking, how can I help? I was in a bad place mentally and needed support and I immediately felt safe. Claire was friendly, sympathetic and reassuring, exactly what I needed and it was so important to me at that time. She was professional, explained exactly what she was doing to help me and what would happen next. She was a shining star in a very dark place for me at that moment. I would be grateful if you could thank her for me, in an official way if you know what I mean?  She was a wonderful and a credit to Ecclesfield Group Practice.

Dear All,

I have been meaning to send this message for many weeks now. While I continue to hear horror stories of the poor quality of care from GP Practices, I just wanted to share my experience about the care I have received from your Practice. Most news or messages often tend to focus on negative experiences and people forget to pass on positive messages.

I have needed to contact the surgery on a number of occasions over the last couple of years. I can honestly say that on every occasion I have received excellent care. If a GP has felt I needed to be seen, there has been no hesitancy in doing so. Follow ups have been put in place so that I was monitored. In what has been an exceptionally difficult climate, I have felt very grateful to have such a wonderful team of DRs, nurses and administrative staff caring for me. So I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you and in my experience you have done an amazing job in extremely challenging circumstances.

Thank you to Ecclesfield Group Practice....

I am a patient, but recently I had to contact the surgery regarding my 88 yr old mother (also a patient), All the family was concerned and after speaking to a memory clinic support nurse, who was absolutely brilliant, I was told to contact you.  As always, the reception staff are so friendly and helpful, which is greatly appreciated.  Dr. McCoye called me the next day, and was so helpful and understanding, and immediately prescribed my mother medication, which I sincerely thank him for his prompt reply and understanding, concern and consideration.  As a result, my mum is much brighter, not debilitatingly anxious as she was, and so much more positive and sleeping at night much better, and less during the day.  I, my brother and sisters are so grateful to all the team at Eccelsfield group practice, for your dedicated help, especially at these difficult times.  Thank you all so much, God Bless you and keep well and safe!
